Web roller tape is an embossed or dimpled siliconized coated cloth. It is designed to protect web rollers from the buildup of adhesives and inks in the coating, converting, textiles, paper and film and printing industries.
This anti-slip, anti-stick web roller tape features an acrylic adhesion system that's specially formulated to minimize residue upon removal, so it will decrease the amount of roller cleanup required when the tape is changed. This also helps to extend the life of the roller itself.
Product Applications
- Protecting web rollers from ink and adhesive buildup
We recommend the use of JVCC RW-32 Roller Wrap Tape for these applications. Often referred to as "the printer's friend," this dimpled or embossed siliconized cloth tape significantly reduces cleanup time and makes production processes much more efficient. It features a high co-efficient of friction for anti-slip performance that allows it to better grip the web and keeps material moving regardless of buildup. What's more, this kind of tape features excellent continuous temperature resistance. This tape is suggested as a direct replacement for the now-discontinued Scapa RollerMate P2420 Silicone Rubber-Coated Cloth Tape.
