Double-sided, also known as double-coated, polyethylene foam tape can be used for indoor and outdoor bonding and mounting. It can also be used for window glazing applications, to seal windows from wind and moisture. You'll find double-coated polyethylene foam tape in various widths and thicknesses.
We have general purpose tape, window glazing tape, removable picture hanging strips and mounting squares, exterior mounting tape and removable mounting tape. Certain models have industrial uses; others are excellent around the home for mounting children's artwork, photos and posters. Polyethylene foam tape can be used on glass, painted walls, wood and tile, and it also adheres to surfaces such as blackboards and painted cinder blocks. Depending on the model it may be more appropriate for lightweight materials or heavier items such as POP displays and signs. One main benefit of double-coated tape is that it can replace fasteners such as bolts and screws for mounting without leaving holes.
Double-coated tape is made from a film, paper or tissue with pressure-sensitive adhesive on both sides. A peel-away liner protects the adhesive until it is ready to be used. There are many applications in arts, construction, fabrication and hobby industries.
