This is a difficult tape to find. It's a paper tape with very low tack. Ideal for speciality masking tasks.

We were trying to find a tape to use to cover the dry wall joints in the ceiling of our garage. The plaster has been dropping down and, rather than going to the bother of redoing the joints, we thought we'd try this. We live in PA where there is a wide range of temperatures and this tape fit the bill perfectly. White and three inches wide was just the right size for us and it went on very easily. We'll see how it holds up in this summers heat and humidity and then next winters freezing weather.

After many attempts at trying to find the good quality gaffer’s tape of old, I think I’ve finally found it in this tape. While not 100% as good as the gaffer’s I remember, this tape has all the qualities that I expect: it tears cleanly and without threads, removes cleanly and without any sticky residue, has no chemical odor, and sticks to virtually anything. The only minor complaint I have about it is that it feels slightly less “fabric-y” and slightly more ”plastic-y”, but that does not seem to have an effect on the tape’s performance. Don’t waste your time with Amazon’s gaffer’s tape imitations at a lower cost. This tape is as close as I’ve found to perfect!
