I use this to assemble Theater room decor I construct mostly out of Acrylic. This has the most amazingly strong bond you can archive without the mess of solvent based adhesives. You must plan your work though as you cannot preposition parts. To keep scissors from sticking I rub them on a block of Paraffin wax. As a test to see how strong it was, the first time I purchased it, I cut a 1" Square of it and placed it on the center of a 3/4" X 3 1/2" X 3' board and stuck it to my ceiling. It stayed there until I took it down for over a year.

I got this stuff for making my bikes and bike gear more visible. I'm a big believer in not getting run over, and although box jockeys can still kill you when they see you, they kill ya more when they can't see you. This stick-on tape seems like the right stuff. The v98 is thinner/more flexible and can be peeled back up and placed within a minute or so, so you can get the lines right on your gear. I used it on bike fenders to start with. The 1" stuck really well and didn't move. It's really visible by day and super visible at night via reflection. (Get the lime green/yellow if you're looking for fluorescent yellow. The other yellow seems to be the more orangy yellow of road signs.) The 2" hasn't stuck as well on my fenders, has baconed up at the edges. This is likely because the smaller radius there means there's more tape being sort of squished down to cover less area. In the future, for a multi-curved surface like this, I'll try snipping out little relief darts. That will be easy since the tape's got little triangular pattern in it, so the look will remain tidy. I prepped the surfaces carefully, degreasing then finishin with alcohol wipe or window cleaner to get it super clean before putting the tape down. I expect it'll last a long time.

This is great tape. I was looking for an extremely strong double-sided foam tape with a rubber-based adhesive, and this meets that criteria very well. I wanted a rubber-based adhesive to achieve high initial tack/stickiness, unlike acrylic adhesives, which usually require several hours before they achieve full bonding strength. From what I found on FindTape.com, this is one of the strongest rubber-based adhesive double-sided foam tapes available, and it's also a pretty good price. Something else I like about this tape is that it is fairly thick and the foam is soft and flexible. This allows it to contour easily to rough surfaces. Something to keep in mind is how big these rolls are: the roll is about 16" diameter when new, which should last me years. The only thing I don't like about this roll is that it is not labelled anywhere, so when I need a new roll (which will most likely be 10+ years from now), I won't be able to remember what kind of tape it is. So, I put my own label on the inside surface of the roll's inner core.

I first purchased this tape in 2010 after buying a Scotch ATG 714 tape applicator. I was tired of spending a lot of money on the little tape dispensers. I highly recommend this adhesive! If you have trouble remembering how to thread the tape in the applicator, there are many videos you can watch on You Tube. I appreciate that I no longer have to worry over every inch of adhesive I use! Be sure and order a partial case to save money!

purchased to cover some tears in an old leather sofa that was gifted to me. The match was Perfect. Just be careful applying product if you get wrinkles and have to remove it will take off the layer with it.

Intention is to outline the shape of my motorcycle and helmet. Tried small piece on smooth plastic helmet visor, but came back off easily. Most use will be on smooth surfaces (chrome..plexiglas) that occasionally will need to be cleaned with water and a mild cleaner. Will there be any problems with those applications?. Any tips I need to know to assure a good bond?. First time user and finally found out how to remove the backing and protective covering. Is that the strongest adhesive you use for the type of tape I purchased?.

For the last few months I've kept a roll with me at all times to use as a back up to an expensive compression wrap I use on my quad pull. After a few hours the reusable compression wrap drives me NUTS and it has to come off, then I wrap a few layers of this stuff right on my leg and man does it help. Only sticks to itself and stretches enough to flex but still gives support. At less than $1.25 per roll I bought a case and am 110% happy I did.
